Bolton physiotherapist Clodagh McCague has been named as Best Practice Educator in an award from students at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Third year physiotherapy students made eleven nominations from across the North West with the most —  four – being at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.  The students chose Clodagh, who is a women’s health specialist physio, as the winner.

In her nomination students said: “she cared about my wellbeing both as a student and as a person….she trusted me to see my own patients but also made sure I felt comfortable to ask for advice at any time.…she also made sure I felt part of the team.”

The other three Bolton nominees were Sezen Quinn, Anne Rothwell and Debs Coey.
