Choosing the right NHS Service for you

Accident and Emergency (A&E) is there for those who have serious or life threatening conditions. We are also still dealing with COVID-19. So to keep people safe and socially distant we still have visitor restrictions in place and are only allowing patients to enter our waiting rooms.

The information on this page tells you how you can choose the right NHS service to help you if you are feeling unwell.

If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms then please don’t turn up at hospital. You need to stay at home and contact NHS via their website or by calling 111. You can also speak to NHS 111 if you are unsure where to go to for treatment.

Visitor restrictions

To protect you and our staff during the current outbreak of Covid-19 we’ve put in place significant restrictions on hospital visitors.

Full details of these can be found on our website.

We would like to thank you for your understanding and helping us stop the spread of Covid-19.
