We work independently in patients’ homes and a wide range of settings offering support, advice and education, including group sessions and one-to-one consultations.
The aim of the podiatry service is to contribute to the health and well being of residents within the Bolton area by reducing the number of podiatry problems and maintaining comfort and mobility. The podiatry service in Bolton provides high quality care to meet the podiatric needs of eligible patients. We assess, diagnose and treat conditions affecting the feet and have developed specific expertise across all areas of podiatry. The department works directly with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a seamless pathway of care.
The Adult Speech and Language Therapy service in Bolton provides assessment, advice and treatment to people with speech, language, communication and/or swallowing difficulties after illness such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, cancer and many other conditions. We also offer a comprehensive service to people who are experiencing changes in their voice quality. The service is offered at the Royal Bolton Hospital and in people’s homes, residential and nursing homes and in clinic settings.
