Request:

I would like to request the following breakdown of the NHS Trust’s hardware maintenance and costs:

A list of the models of the physical servers, storage devices, tape libraries, network switches and routers under support contracts; as well as the cost and duration of said contracts, with start and end dates and service level associated with the equipment. Could you also supply the names of the suppliers of aforementioned support services?

I would like to request the following breakdown of the NHS Trust’s hardware maintenance and costs:

A list of the models of the physical servers, storage devices, tape libraries, network switches and routers under support contracts; as well as the cost and duration of said contracts, with start and end dates and service level associated with the equipment. Could you also supply the names of the suppliers of aforementioned support services?

Physical Servers: Dell Servers purchased with 5 year warranties for the lifetime of the product.

 

Storage: We have a mix of Vendors from DotHill, Nexsan, Kaminario.  The Kaminario is under warranty until 2020.  The DotHill and Nexsan units renew throughout the year and total maintenance on all units is £60k.  Yearly Renewal.

 

Tape Libraries: AnnualMaintenance in Qualstar 85120 with 4 LTO 5 = £4k – Renews annually in March.

 

Network Switches and Routers.  Edge switches lifetime Warranty.  Enterasys B5 switches.

Core: Enterasys S8’s and N7’s (December Support renewal £89k)  Currently under contract until December 2019.
