Subject:        NHS car park costs

Request:

We are doing a piece that is interested in looking at how much money hospital trusts make through hospital car parks.

It would be great if you could give figures on parking charges and fines that have been made to patients; visitors and staff, each year for the past 10 years [January 2009 to now].

I will be asking the same question to other NHS trusts in the North West.

Response:

Section 21 – information already reasonably accessible

This exemption applies if the information requested is already accessible to the requester. You could apply this if you know that the requester already has the information, or if it is already in the public domain.
