Audiology Department Coronavirus Information

Until further notice all appointments in the department and home visits have been cancelled.

We urge all our patients to follow the latest Government advice.

All our out-reach clinics across Bolton have been cancelled.

Please be assured we will do our best to continue to support our patients as best we can without face to face contact.

Our repair service is closed to all non-essential activity and we request that patients in need contact the department in the following ways for further advice:

There is now a dedicated NHS 111 service available 24 hours a day for deaf people who use BSL.

The Adult Audiology Department specialises in assessing, diagnosing and treating hearing and balance problems. We have excellent levels of patient satisfaction because of our high quality, patient centred care and we were one of the first three departments nationally to receive accreditation from UKAS. Our services are in locations across the Bolton area.
