For many children and young people the person that is treating you will also be your case manager. Your case manager will be your main point of contact and support at CAMHS and will help to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
With your permission, your case manager may also talk with other people that you know like family members, carers, teachers and social workers to advise them on how they may best be able to support you and your needs. Sometimes these people will meet each other to talk about your care. At these meetings your case manager will represent you and will stand up for your needs and concerns.
