Mental health nurses

Mental health nurses are specially trained to work with young people and their families or carers. They are very good at listening and talking to you about your thoughts and feelings. They will support you and your family or carers and give you lots of information and advice. They might help with any physical effects of mental health problems.

Some nurses who work in CAMHS are called specialist nurses or consultant nurses.
