A Victorian Christmas Fair is to be held at the Royal Bolton Hospital on the afternoons of December 4th and 5th and organisers are looking for people who may wish to have a stall there.
As well as stalls selling goods for Christmas, the event will feature a tombola, fruit and vegetable stall, you can order your turkey, have afternoon tea and sample some healthy burgers including some made of bison and ostrich. There will be a children’s ride and activities, Santa’s Grotto, and the Rock Choir will be entertaining everyone on the Saturday. The Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 5pm., the same afternoon.
The event will help support Donate One for Dementia, an appeal which is aiming to raise funds to give the hospital a more dementia friendly environment and which is supported by the Bolton News.
Fundraising Team: “The fair will be a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit, provide something of interest for everyone and raise funds at the same time. We have a few spaces left for some more stalls and want to hear from local stall holders who would like to come along.”
Stalls will cost £10 per day or £15 for two days. The Christmas Fair will be held in the former laundry, with the lights being switched on at the tree opposite A and E. The Christmas Fair will be open from 2p.m. until 5p.m. on Friday 4th December, and noon until 5.30p.m. on Saturday 5th December.
