Rae Wheatcroft has been appointed Bolton NHS Foundation Trust’s new Chief Operating Officer following a two-day recruitment process.
Rae, who has worked at the Trust for 12 years, will start her new post on 1 January 2022 when incumbent Andy Ennis retires from the Trust.
Rae Wheatcroft, Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said: “I am so proud to be the new Chief Operating Officer for Bolton and look forward to continuing to work with our amazing teams to provide the very best care for the people of Bolton.
“It will be a real privilege to lead such a fantastic team.”
Fiona Noden, Chief Executive at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said: “On behalf of the whole Board of Directors, I would like to congratulate Rae and officially welcome her to the Executive Team.
“This is such a pivotal role in the organisation and Rae showed throughout the recruitment process how she will make a difference for the people we serve.”
Recruitment for Rae’s replacement as Deputy Chief Operating Officer will begin shortly.
