Teams from Bolton NHS Foundation Trust have been shortlisted for the 2021 Health Business Awards. The awards, sponsored by Honeywell, recognises innovation and excellence happening every day in the NHS.
The Clinical Assessment Unit has been nominated in the categories of Hospital Building Award which awknowledges a new hospital building project that demonstrates a rise in the standard of the healthcare environment, the Patient Safety Award, for staff making great strides in providing a safe hospital environment for patients and the Estates and Facilities Innovation Award, which recognises organisations that have developed innovative ways to manage and maintain their facilities.
In addition to the Clinical Assessment Unit’s nominations, the Food Waste Reduction team were also nominated in the category of Hospital Procurement that acknowledges trusts that demonstrate procurement excellence and cost effectiveness. The Trust was also nominated for the COVID Response Award that recognises organisations that have implemented swift and efficient measures to cope with the pandemic.
