Professional Background

Dr Chris Moulton joined Bolton NHS Foundation Trust in 1994 and had previously worked at hospitals in Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester.

He studied at the Victoria University of Manchester and his qualifications are MBChB. DRCOG. DFSRH. MRCGP. FRCA. FCEM.

He is a member of the European Society for Emergency Medicine and was Senior Lecturer in Emergency Medicine at the University of Manchester from 1994 to 2000.

Dr Moulton is also the Vice President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, starting a three year term in September 2016.

The Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department at the Royal Bolton Hospital is one of the busiest in Greater Manchester and provides immediate diagnostic and therapeutic care for seriously ill and injured patients. Patients are cared for by our excellent team of medical and nursing staff.
