Welcome to the fundraising page for our newest campaign, Special Care for Special Babies. The idea behind this campaign is to raise much needed funds to help facilitate a new structural layout for the Neonatal Department. This will create more space around the cots, making it easier for parents and families to bond with their new baby. We would also like to improve the facilities for parents of babies in our care by creating an area where they can sit down to eat or have the space to gather their thoughts during what can be a very stressful time in their lives. Finally, we want to modernise the accommodation for parents who need to stay at the hospital whilst their baby is in the Neonatal Unit.
Bag Packing Events
As part of our fundraising efforts we have been offered the opportunity to hold some bag packing events and are looking to recruit some volunteers to help with these between now and April. We will need four volunteers to assist on Fridays and Saturdays and would be incredibly grateful for any time that you might be able to spare for this worthwhile cause.
