1) Does the trust use single use venous tourniquets, reusable tourniquets or both?
2) What is the annual spend/usage on each category of tourniquet?
3) How many reported incidences of tourniquets being inadvertently left on a patients arm have there been in the past 5 years?
4) What is the value if any, of any litigation costs associated with any such incidences?

| 2) What is the annual spend/usage on each category of tourniquet? | Based on the first six months spend of this financial year, our predicted annual spend is expected to be £2,362 on reusable and £3,198 on single use. |
| 3) How many reported incidences of tourniquets being inadvertently left on a patients arm have there been in the past 5 years? | There has been no litigation against the Trust in respect of venous tourniquets, and therefore no litigation costs associated with such incidents. |
