Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is a major provider of hospital and community health services in the North West Sector of Greater Manchester. We deliver services from the Royal Bolton Hospital and also provide a wide range of community services from locations across Bolton. The Trust received a ‘Good’ overall rating from the CQC in August 2016. The Royal Bolton Hospital is a major hub within Greater Manchester for women’s and children’s services and is the second busiest ambulance-receiving site in Greater Manchester.
Due to the size of the Trust, there is increased accessibility to support services and expert advice, seven days a week, 365 days of the year. We are able to offer more appointments and increased access to gynaecology support, this includes:
- Range of available appointments on a variety of days and times.
- Enhanced theatre capacity to deliver operations.
- Large and flexible bed stock for planned and unplanned admissions.
Gynaecology received a CQC overall rating of Good in the report published 10th August 2016.
