Tongue Tie Clinic

We provide a tongue tie service on the NHS at the Royal Bolton Hospital which is based on the postnatal ward in the Maternity Unit.

This midwife led clinic is provided by the Infant Feeding Specialist Service and is available to assess and offer treatment (frenulotomy) for infants with a tongue tie which is causing a feeding problem. Referrals will be accepted for breastfeeding and bottle feeding babies who have received care from a Bolton NHS Foundation Trust member of staff.
