Professional & Polite

“I went to Bolton A&E today around 4pm as I had very severe pain in my right leg; I couldn’t stand, sit or lay down without experiencing intense pain and therefore couldn’t sleep. I was seen fairly quickly around 5pm by a physiotherapist who was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was given advice on exercises, pain killers and rest to ease my symptoms. I really felt well looked after and already my pain has started to reduce a little. This particular NHS employee has a good professional rapport with patients who others should follow e.g. trainees.

Thank you Bolton hospital and the physiotherapist who dealt with me, good work.”

“I am overweight due to various health conditions such as stroke, gout etc. hence I have difficulties in moving around the house let alone outside. However, since a physiotherapist (called Fatima) started paying me home visits to help make me exercise regularly, my condition is starting to improve. Moreover she also helped me motivate myself and left a pretty large handful of exercising notes to continue, which I will always be grateful for.”

“For the last six months I have been attending the physiotherapy department at Bolton One. From day one when I was seen by the Advanced Orthopaedic Practitioner, the treatment I have received has been exceptional, she identified my problem and planned a course of therapy with the physiotherapist, she also informed by letter my GP and myself the problem I had and the most suitable treatment for me, this she did in a professional and caring way. I then began to see a physiotherapist for my treatment, she was a lovely lady who also had a caring attitude, one of the treatments I had was for pain at the top of my shoulder, I gradually found it was beginning to ease and now it’s not noticeable for which I’m very grateful. I’d also like to mention the occupational therapist who came to visit me at home, his help and support was also exceptional. Thank you to them all.”
