This service is available to all staff and students of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, wherever you work. Please visit us to join, bringing your ID badge with you, or invite us to your workplace so a group of you can join. Alternatively you can join using our online registration form and bring your ID badge along with you the first time you visit.
The Education Centre Library is available for you to work, study, research and relax in. You’ll find the Library near CAMHS with parking at the Education Centre.

Request a search – if you need evidence to support your work or research, whatever the topic, the Clinical Librarian will undertake an in-depth search on your behalf. Request a journal article / book from another library – putting the evidence in your hands by delivering documents directly to you (charges may apply; students should use their university library service). Request etocs/alerts – we can keep you up to date with the latest developments in your area(s) of interest.
Request a one-to-one tutorial/book a training session – if you’d like to develop your search skills and find high quality health-related information for yourself, our individual tutorials will guide you through the resources on offer. We also have a selection of small group training sessions which can be delivered to up to six people. Register for NHS Athens – Library staff will set up an account for you so you. You will have access to full text journal articles, two point of care resources: www.uptodate.com, www.bestpractice.bmj.com/ healthcare databases and more and a range of COVID-19 resources.
