Are you interested in some of the best training opportunities in the North West, with leading consultants in a trust developing its research portfolio – but with a management team who value the personal approach?

Then look no further than Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. Situated in a borough of 275,000 people, the Trust is part of the expanding ‘Northern Powerhouse’.

Serving a diverse, local population, Bolton NHS Foundation Trust also provides health care services to patients from Salford, Wigan, Bury and beyond. The Trust headquarters are at the Royal Bolton Hospital, which operates one of the busiest accident and emergency departments in Greater Manchester and is a centre of excellence for women’s and children’s services. The Trust also provides services at over 20 health centres and clinics.

Our most recent CQC inspection rated us as GOOD for both acute and community services. Despite a challenging time for the NHS, our trust is one of few in the country that has created and sustained a financial surplus over recent years, whilst making improvements at the same time. The Trust has recently benefited from a £30m investment in its estates and IT. We’ve celebrated a number of successes in recent years, including some national accolades for our services and hard-working staff, to find out more please follow the link.

The Trust’s values are vision, openness, integrity, compassion and excellence. Our VOICE demonstrates the beliefs that underpin the way we work together as staff for our patients. They reflect the organisation we are now and our aspirations for the future. We want Bolton NHS Foundation Trust to be a great place to work, and we believe that by living our values every day we will encourage a culture where we treat patients as we would treat our family and friends.
recruitment_029We place great importance on a culture of continuous learning, and support our staff and students to develop themselves and their career wherever possible. We encourage our staff to get involved in shaping services and the way we provide care, ensuring they are all supported to do their jobs in the best and safest way possible. Our focus is on a happy workforce providing high quality, compassionate care to our patients and their families.
