Respiratory

Our respiratory service provides specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing support for people with respiratory conditions. We care for patients with both long‑term and acute breathing problems, helping them to manage symptoms, improve quality of life and maintain independence.

We care for patients at Royal Bolton Hospital, with additional support from colleagues at The Christie and Wythenshawe for those receiving treatment or assessment for lung cancer.

Our team of specialist respiratory nurses and physiotherapists deliver a wide range of care, including hospital‑at‑home support, home visits, condition management, home oxygen assessments and reviews, pulmonary rehabilitation, and specialist respiratory clinics.
