Bowel Cancer Screening

We provide screening for people aged 50–74 across Bolton, Wigan and Salford, as part of the national screening programme.

People over 74 can request a screening kit every two years by contacting the Bowel Cancer Screening Helpline.

Our role in Bolton

The Bolton Screening Centre includes administrative, specialist nursing and medical teams who support people through every stage of the screening process. If further investigations are needed after an abnormal result, you may be seen at Royal Bolton Hospital or Leigh Infirmary.
