Martha's Rule

Martha’s Rule allows hospital inpatients and their families to seek a rapid review if their condition, or the condition of a loved one, is deteriorating

Our approach to safeguarding

We are committed to protecting adults and young people from abuse, neglect or harm, and ensuring they receive safe, compassionate care

Safe staffing

We must publish information on staff numbers for each shift, including the percentage of shifts that meet safe staffing guidelines.

Learning from deaths

As part of our commitment to continually improving, we review all deaths at the Trust that were not expected.

Consent

Before any examination, investigation, screening test or procedure, the healthcare professional looking after you will explain why it is recommended and what will happen.
