Dr Miller obtained a MB Ch.B from Manchester University as well as a FRCA a FFPMRCA and a FCEM.
He was a trainee on the Greater Manchester Anaesthetic Rotation between 1995 and 2000 and came to work at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust in December 2000.

Dr Miller has special interests in interventional management of cancer pain and training in pain medicine.
He is also a member of the Regional Ethics Committee and a peer reviewer for the British Journal of Anaesthesia.
