Dr Ayuen completed her MD at St George’s University, Grenada, in 2012, and later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education from the University of Dundee in 2020.
Dr Ayuen began her medical career in Trinidad, working as a House Officer and Senior House Officer. She then moved to the UK, gaining further experience at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Worcestershire Royal Hospital. Dr Ayuen went on to complete higher specialist training in Respiratory Medicine and Internal Medicine within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery, including at St George’s Hospital, London.
Dr Ayuen joined the Trust in September 2025.
