Lancashire based charity Merciful Giving has generously donated Eid gifts to children at the Royal Bolton Hospital. This thoughtful gesture is part of a wider initiative, with Our Bolton NHS Charity and Royal Bolton Hospital being one of seven hospitals in the North West to benefit from their kindness and support.
After witnessing the joy Merciful Giving’s support has brought over the past few years, this year is bigger than ever, reaching more children, delivering more toys, and creating more moments of happiness during a time that should feel special for every child.
The gifts were donated to Bolton’s E5 children’s ward, through Our Bolton NHS Charity, on Tuesday 3rd March.
The ward staff were blown away by the generosity, commenting:
“On behalf of the staff and families on E5 children’s ward, the Play Team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Merciful Giving and their supporters for the donation of gifts. We will make sure they are given out to all children in our care at the hospital during Eid.
“We really appreciate your kindness and are sure the children will enjoy receiving them.
