It’s a ‘Hoppy Easter’ at Royal Bolton Hospital after the delivery of thousands of chocolate bunnies from Lindt.

3,500 chocolate bunnies worth £12,000 have been donated through Our Bolton NHS Charity to the hospital’s Neonatal Unit.

Nurses and staff working on the unit have shared the gold bunnies with patients and colleagues across the hospital to help spread the Easter joy, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Children’s Ward on E5, the Children’s Emergency Department, Pharmacy and the Laboratories.

Abdul Goni, Charity Coordinator at Our Bolton NHS Charity, said:

“We’re incredibly grateful to Lindt for their generous donation of chocolate bunnies, they will no doubt put a smile on the faces of our patients, families and colleagues.

“People choose to support Our Bolton NHS Charity in many different ways at special times of the year such as Easter, and the donation of these treats really shows what we can do for our communities when we come together.

“We would like to wish all of those who celebrate a very Happy Easter!”
