Being a member involves working in partnership with our services to help improve the quality and safety of care across Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
Following recruitment members receive essential training to support them in the role, including quality improvement and equality and diversity. As a member, you ensure that the voices of patients, carers and families are heard and reflected in the Trust’s work. You also have opportunities to get involved in wider group activities, such as participating in recruitment processes and joining key meetings to share insights and represent the patient perspective.
What experience are we looking for?

- Who are d/Deaf, blind or partially sighted
- Those with learning disabilities
- Those who are neurodivergent
- Those from the LGBTQ community
