In order to make sure we are providing the best service possible within the resource available to us, we are making some changes to our opening times at the Parallel.
This will enable our staff to focus on mandated activities, and safeguarding of the most vulnerable children, young people and their families in Bolton.
As of 30th March, the Adolescent Health Service based at The Parallel (Lever Chambers) will no longer be offering telephone advice at weekends. This is to enable us to provide additional nurses at our drop-in clinics where the demand for our services is greatest.
Our opening hours will remain:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3.30pm – 6pm
- Tuesday 2.30pm – 6pm
- Thursday by appointment
A nurse at the service can be contacted on 01204 462444 between 9am – 6pm on Monday-Friday (excluding Thursdays), for advice or to arrange appointments outside of clinic hours.
If you require emergency contraception over the weekend, please contact or visit a local pharmacy for support.
