How we support the Armed Forces community
If you’re part of the Armed Forces community; whether you’re currently serving, a reservist or a veteran, we’re here to support you when you access healthcare.
We do this because service life can bring unique challenges, like frequent moves or breaks in care, which can sometimes make it harder to get consistent, fair access to NHS services.
We’re signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, which means you won’t be put at a disadvantage when using our services. If you move because of a military posting, you won’t lose your place on an NHS waiting list, and if you’ve been injured through service you may receive priority care based on clinical need.
If you’re part of the Armed Forces community and you’re coming to an appointment, please tell reception so we can link you with any extra support available. Some of our onsite cafés and shops also offer discounts for those with a Defence Discount Service card or a Veterans Card.
