Dr Edwards came to work at the Trust in August 2013.
Dr Edwards studied medicine at the University of Sheffield and went on to complete a Diploma in Tropical Medicine, Health and Hygiene. She completed the FRCPath examination in April 2012.
She did her specialist training in the North West, with rotations at Central Manchester Hospitals, Salford Royal Hospital, University Hospital South Manchester and Pennine Acute Trust.

Dr Edwards special interests include management of prosthetic joint infection.
