- Feedback will be analysed to shape Bolton’s people and culture priorities
Thousands of staff working across Bolton NHS Foundation Trust have shared their experiences of work life in one of the largest workforce surveys in the world.
The NHS Staff Survey collects views about working in NHS organisations to improve local working conditions, and ultimately to improve patient care.
The results of the 2025 NHS Staff Survey have now been published, with more than 43% of colleagues at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust taking the time to complete the survey.
Feedback will be analysed in detail over the coming weeks to help shape the organisation’s people and culture priorities, from improving wellbeing at work and strengthening learning and development opportunities.
Dr Niruban Ratnarajah, Chair at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said:
“We’re thankful to all of our colleagues who took the time to complete the survey and for sharing their experiences at work with such openness and honesty.
“The past twelve months have undoubtedly been challenging as we manage increasing levels of demand across our services whilst also having to work differently, often at pace, as part of our collective efforts to become more financially sustainable.
“Our commitment now is to listen and use what our colleagues have told us to make meaningful improvements that ensure Bolton is a great place to work for everyone.”
The Trust’s full results can be found on the NHS Staff Survey website.
