Dr Malik started at the Royal Bolton Hospital as a consultant radiologist in December 2006. He was appointed Clinical Lead for Radiology in November 2011. Prior to this he was the lead for thoracic radiology for the Trust since July 2007. He also has a history of working closely with primary care colleagues to establish community radiology services.
Dr Malik completed his training at the University of Cambridge, United Medical and Dental Schools of Guys’ and St Thomas’ in London, and Manchesters’ Radiology Training Scheme.
His main subspecialty interests are in thoracic radiology and nuclear medicine.
