Professional background

Dr Meraj obtained MBBS degree with honours from Punjab University, Pakistan. She completed her basic surgical training with MRCS in Manchester.

She had radiology training in West Midlands Radiology Training Scheme. Dr Meraj joined Bolton NHS Foundation Trust as a consultant, in October 2014. She is Radiology Lead for Symptomatic Breast Services.

Special interests and research

Dr Meraj has special interest in gynaecological imaging and breast imaging including breast screening.
