People in Bolton are being invited to join Bolton NHS Foundation Trust’s Annual Members Meeting on Wednesday 15 October 2025.
This event offers a unique opportunity to hear about the Trust’s achievements over the past year and hear about exciting plans for the future of healthcare in the town.
The meeting will be held in the Lecture Theatre from 1.00pm to 3.00pm in the brand new Bolton School of Medicine, located on the Royal Bolton Hospital site.
Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with the Trust’s leadership and learn more about ongoing projects and strategic priorities.
During the past twelve months, the Trust has started a multi-million pound project to refurbish the hospital’s Maternity and Women’s Health unit, invested in new technology to upgrade systems across hospital and community sites, and implemented a number of changes in Urgent and Emergency Care that lead to Bolton being named the second most improved NHS Trust in England for its Emergency Department 12-hour performance.
Dr. Niruban Ratnarajah, Chair of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, commented:
We are always pleased to welcome members of the public and our staff to our Annual Members Meeting. It’s a chance to celebrate our progress, reflect on challenges, and share our vision for the future.
“We have made great strides in improving care and making Bolton NHS Foundation Trust a positive place to work. But there is still more to be done. This meeting is an important opportunity to connect with our community and partners as we prepare for the year ahead.
