The shortlist for Bolton NHS Foundation Trust’s FABB Awards 2025 has been revealed.

The annual event recognises the incredible contributions of health and care staff in the organisation and across Bolton.

This year, more than 600 nominations were received across 11 award categories, each recognising the inspiring work that’s taking place every day to provide care, support and treatment to local communities.

James Mawrey, Director of People and Deputy Chief Executive at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said:

With more than 6,000 staff working across our teams and services, there is so much to celebrate from the past twelve months and the FABB Awards are a wonderful opportunity to shine a light on the incredible dedication of Bolton’s health and care staff.

“I feel genuinely proud to see have seen so many inspiring entries, each one a reminder of the extraordinary difference our people make every single day. Congratulations to all of our amazing finalists and we’re looking forward to celebrating their successes on Friday 10 October!

This year’s categories include Greener Future, Quality and Safety, People’s Choice, and for the first time the Charity Support of the Year to recognise individuals and organisations who have shown exceptional commitment to supporting our charity, whether through personal dedication, fundraising efforts, or advocacy.
