Flu and respiratory infections are rising across the country, and we’re seeing increased numbers of patients with flu in our Emergency Department and on our wards.

As a temporary measure, we’re advising patients and visitors to wear face masks in our Emergency Department where possible. 😷

Masks are available at the entrance, and if you’re unable to wear one, please let staff know.

Help protect yourself, your loved ones and our patients from flu this winter:

⚠️ Do not visit ED unless absolutely necessary

🦠 Please do not visit a loved one in our hospitals if you have signs of infection or flu symptoms.

💉 If you are eligible for a flu jab, book in with your GP or local pharmacy as soon as possible
