Support Our Bolton NHS Charity this Christmas

Support Our Bolton NHS Charity this Christmas

This Christmas, we’re raising funds to ensure patients, service-users and their families receive the best possible care, in the right place, all year round.

Donations help us provide advanced medical equipment, improve facilities, and enhance support, all of which make a huge difference to a person’s experience of our services, whether that’s in hospital, out in the community or in the place they call home.

There are many ways to get involved with Our Bolton NHS Charity this year. Whether you’re helping spread awareness, raising funds, or joining in a bit of festive fun, you’re helping create a brighter Christmas for patients, families and colleagues. Thank you so much.

This Christmas, help us give the one gift patients value most: equipment that excels, spaces that soothe, and moments that matter.

A donation helps us fund vital medical equipment, create welcoming and calming spaces, and enhance the patient experience for people of all ages, throughout the year. For example, thanks to donations to Our Bolton NHS Charity, more people with suspected acute urinary retention (which is a medical emergency) can now be assessed safely in the comfort of the place they call home, rather than spending Christmas in hospital. By making a donation to our Christmas appeal, you are helping to bring warmth and reassurance to vulnerable patients, and the gift of care right where it is needed.

Support Our Bolton NHS Charity by donating or fundraising today – every contribution helps make a difference!

If you would like your donation to support a specialist fund, please leave a message when you make your donation.

Similarly, you can email charity@boltonft.nhs.uk with the JustGiving receipt reference number and we will ensure the donation is allocated accordingly.

Our Bolton NHS Charity offers several meaningful ways to support the patients and staff at Royal Bolton Hospital. One of the easiest ways to make a difference is through our Amazon Wish Lists.

Support Our Staff Rooms

Help us ensure staff rooms are stocked with carefully chosen items to provide a little boost to staff during their unpaid breaks: tea, coffee, packet soups and pasta, cereal bars and more.

Buying from our Amazon wish list could not be easier; you don’t even need an Amazon account. Simply click the link, add the item(s) you’d like to buy to your basket and click ‘proceed to payment’. Everything is delivered direct to the charity team at Royal Bolton Hospital and we take care of the rest.

Send a gift to our patients with the ‘You’re Not Alone’ Amazon Wish List

Many patients face illness and a hospital stay alone, without family or friends to visit. You can brighten a patient’s day with a simple, meaningful gift from our Amazon wish lists, which have been carefully curated by our nursing and play teams. Your kindness and generosity brings comfort, dignity and hope to patients when they need it most. Choose a gift today and remind someone they are not forgotten or alone.

Simply visit our Amazon Wish List online using this link, select the items you would like to donate, and Amazon will deliver them directly to us – it’s that straightforward.

If supporters would like to bring presents in for our patients, Our Bolton NHS Charity will be holding a gift drop-off session on Thursday 18 December, 2-4pm. The drop-off location will be the Trust HQ entrance at Royal Bolton Hospital.

If you have any questions about getting involved, please contact charity@boltonft.nhs.uk.

If you’re looking to support with a gift that lasts longer than a box of chocolates then please donate to our Staff Wellbeing and Development Fund. Funds raised help colleagues recharge in well-equipped staff rooms and enjoy moments of self-care so they’re at their best to care for you and your loved ones.

When you make a donation through our Staff Wellbeing dedication page, you can also leave a personal message of thanks or encouragement for a colleague who went the extra mile to provide care and support to you or a loved one.

Show your support today, because the people who provide care for others deserve some TLC too.
