Are there regular public transport services to the hospital and health centres?
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has all the details of all public transport across Greater Manchester including those services to the hospital which run both from Bolton town centre and from areas around the borough. It also has a journey planner tool which you can use to find out which bus routes will take you to the health centres and clinics across Bolton.

Shared Taxi Service
There are two passenger-assisted services, available to anyone, which operate a door-to-door service from Breightmet, Tonge Moor, Darcy Lever, Deane and Daubhill. To book, ring 01204-364566.
Indirect Bus Service
If you are travelling from areas not covered by a direct bus service, please contact the Greater Manchester Transport Information Service, 0161 228 7811, between 8.00a.m. and 8.00p.m. for details of buses to either Bolton or Farnworth town centres. You can easily get to the hospital by the 501 bus service.
Travelling By Train
Bolton train station is on Trinity Street from where you can easily catch the 501 bus service to the hospital.
Travel Expenses and Advice
Anyone eligible to claim travelling expenses can go to the Cashiers’ office in the hospital main entrance, open 9a.m. to 4p.m., Monday to Friday.
