Professional background

Mr Sheikh Uzair moved to Bolton in 2006 after working as a specialist registrar in the Yorkshire Deanery and a clinical lecturer in surgery in Galway, Ireland.

Mr Uzair qualified from the University of the Punjab in Pakistan in 1989 and went on to complete his specialist surgical training in Ireland in 1997.
