Mr Steve Hodgson has been working in Bolton as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with an upper limb interest since 1993. He was clinical director for specialist surgery from 1996 to 1999 and clinical lead for trauma and orthopaedics from 2006 to 2008. Since then he has been Associate Medical Director – initially for Anaesthetics and Surgery and from 2011 to 2013 for the Elective Care Division. He is North West Advancing Quality programme clinical lead for Orthopaedics and sits on the council of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Mr Hodgson has published several papers on scaphoid fractures, wrist problems and elbow replacement.
