Our Paediatric Sensory Processing Service supports children and young people aged between 2-18 years old who experience sensory processing differences.
Sensory processing differences occurs when sensory signals don’t get organised into appropriate responses. People with sensory processing differences find it difficult to process sensory information (e.g. sound, touch and movement) from the world around them.
Our specialist team assess the areas that the child/ young person is experiencing difficulties and put strategies in place to support them, their family and any other professionals that care for them/ work with them.
