Our Services

Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service

Our Bolton Macmillan Cancer information & support service offers a warm welcome to anyone affected by cancer. Whether you’re a patient, family member, friend or carer we’re here for you at any stage of your experience with cancer.

We aim to ensure that everyone affected by cancer has access to relevant information and appropriate support.

How do I access the service?

  • Our centre at Royal Bolton Hospital is situated to the left of the main entrance
  • Our centre at Bolton One is on the ground floor situated next to the pharmacy
  • Our centre at Bolton Hospice is located on the ground floor of Giles House. Please note this is separate from the main hospice building but within the hospice grounds.

Anyone can access the service for information and support with any aspect of cancer. You can use our centre to talk to our staff and volunteers about any concerns you may have or access our varied information booklets to take away with you.

No appointment is necessary but if you are making a special journey to the centre or need to discuss accessibility requirements, we recommend that you contact us beforehand to ensure that we have adequate staff available.

The service is open Monday – Friday 10.00am until 4.00pm (excluding bank holidays).
