Virtual check-ins

We’re introducing digital check-ins in all our outpatient clinics at the hospital and our health centres. This is part of our commitment to modernising services and making sure they are fit for the future.

Digital check-ins will:

  • Help our teams manage appointments and waiting areas more effectively
  • Allow staff to focus on the things that matter most – your care

How will it work?

  • You’ll be able to check in quickly for your appointment using a touchscreen kiosk
  • You can also download the app to check in on your mobile device
  • Staff will still be available in clinics to assist anyone who needs additional help

Easy check in

The kiosks can be used to check-in for appointments via a mobile app on a mobile phone.

All you have to do is install the “Intouch Appointment Manager 2’ app on iPhone (IOS) or Android phone.

They will be clearly signposted and located at the main entrance points in outpatient departments across the hospital and health centres.

  • Less time spent queuing
  • Live check-in; as soon as you check in, staff know you have arrived
  • You can ensure the trust always has your most up to date contact details
