Dr Morgan studied medicine at Nottingham University, qualifying with BMedSci and BMBS degrees in 2002. She initially began specialist training in paediatrics in the East Midlands, obtaining her MRCPCH qualification and joining the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2005.
Dr Morgan moved to the North West in 2006, working in many different hospitals in the region to complete her paediatric training. She joined the specialist register as a Consultant Paediatrician whilst working at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust in 2010 and has worked here since then.
She has been the lead for Clinical Governance and Quality for the Acute Paediatric Department, working to ensure the service delivered is of the highest quality and is continuing in this role whilst also becoming Clinical Lead for the department.
