Mr Jeff Kwartz qualified from Birmingham University in 1985 and went on to continue with his ophthalmic training at St James Eye Hospital, Leeds and the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
In 1994 he received a Fellowship in Cataract Corneal and External Eye Disease from the University of Toronto, Canada.
He joined Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Hope Hospital in Salford as Consultant Ophthalmologist in 1996 and has been clinical lead since 2006.
Mr Kwartz is a general ophthalmologist as well as sub-specialising in small incision cataract surgery, external eye disease and corneal transplantation.
