It’s just one week to go until Bolton’s incredible health and care workers will come together for a night of celebration and recognition at the annual For A Better Bolton Awards.

This year’s FABB Awards received a record of more than 800 nominations across 12 categories, including Unsung Hero Award, Innovation Award and People’s Choice Award.

Taking place at the Bolton Whites Hotel on Friday 24 November, hundreds of workers from the NHS and partner organisations across Bolton will join the celebrations to find out which individuals and teams have won.

Fiona Noden, Chief Executive at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Place-Based Lead for Bolton, said:

It’s been another challenging year for health and care staff, but despite this our staff have achieved some incredible things, helped thousands of people across Bolton and beyond and provided compassion to both them and their colleagues.

Dr. Niruban Ratnarajah, Chair of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said:

We are so proud of the brilliant work that takes place right across Bolton by our health and care staff every single day, and I cannot wait for that success to be recognised on a special night that is dedicated to them.
