Maternity Triage and Antenatal Day Unit relocating to R1

On Monday 22 September, Maternity Triage will be relocating to R1, followed by the Antenatal Day Unit (ANDU) on Wednesday 24 September.

This temporary relocation is to support the ongoing multi-million pound transformation of our brand new Maternity and Women’s Health Unit, due for completion in early 2027.

The move increases our bed space in Triage and provides us with a dedicated telephone triage room and a BSOTS assessment room. The new space aims to improve the experience for our women and families that access the Triage service.

We are expecting a period of disruption as we move our services across and whilst our teams settle into their new work areas. We’re incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding.

We’ll be updating signage throughout the hospital and information on our website and social media channels to help patients and visitors find their way to the new location.

More information about our maternity services can be found on our website.
