Our respiratory service provides inpatient and outpatient services to all patients with respiratory disease, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, tuberculosis and lung cancer.
We offer full hospital services, supported by colleagues from The Christie and Wythenshawe and by a team of specialist nurses which provides a seven-day service to both inpatients and outpatients, as well as home visits as required.

The team of specialist respiratory nurses and physiotherapist provide hospital at home, home visits, management, home oxygen assessments and review, pulmonary rehabilitation and specialist clinics.
We also offer ‘Pulmonary Rehabilitation’ for patients with COPD which is an exercise programme which research shows to be beneficial.
